Rolandのキーボード、FantomXを購入しました。ついでに拡張音色ボードも2つほど買ってみました。
うーん、ハードウェア音源としては一番リアルだと思います。
今回購入した理由は、音色が欲しいからではなくて、シーケンサー機能とすぐに呼び出せるサンプラー機能が魅力的で買いました。やっぱりパソコンで曲を作る方が作りやすいのですが、ゲームやらの誘惑で思うように製作が進みませんｗ 別にプロで仕事で作ってるわけではないので、進まなくてもいいわけですが、どうしても作りたい曲が日に日に増えていってるので・・。
まだ、シーケンサーの使い方を勉強中なので曲は作っていませんが、弾いてるだけでも即興で何かを弾けてしまいます。
やはり音色というのは容量じゃないんですね。それこそ数GBのソフトシンセよりも生ではないけれども、何かに使えそうな音色が多いです。まだ、拡張スロットが2個あるので、128MB分の拡張はできるものの、StringsやBrass音色はサンプラーで音色を読み込ませようと思うので、欲しい拡張ボードがありません。当分はこのままのスペックで・・。

128MB(デフォルト音色)+128MB(拡張2枚)+512MB(サンプリング)+32MB(ユーザー領域)=800MB
